THE RIGID ROLL

You begin by displaying a roll of toilet paper to your audience. You slowly start to unroll the toilet paper, causing the toilet paper to move towards the floor. At the moment the end of the paper touches the floor, you let go of the roll and it remains suspended in mid air! Your hands are waived around the roll to prove no support, then you roll the paper back up and immediately hand it out for examination.

DEVIL DICE

Three dice are taken out of your pocket and rolled onto the table several times to show they are ordinary and ungimmicked. The three dice are placed onto the table in a row with each die having the same number of spots facing upwards. The three dice are turned over showing that two dice have identical numbers on the bottom and one has a different number (this is the odd die.) No matter how slow the dice are mixed up, the spectator is unable to figure which one is the odd die.

HIGH FLYING MAGIC

A deck of cards is brought out and a card is selected from it. The spectator signs his name in big letters across it's face. The card is then lost back into the deck. A rubber band is wrapped around the deck and the cards are then thrown up into the air. The deck hits the ceiling and then falls back down. The spectator's signed card stays on the ceiling, apparently one of it's corners is actually imbedded into the ceiling. Spectators can view the card from all angles without being able to see the gimmick. A real visual effect - memorable and entertaining!

THANKS FOR PLAYING - TRY AGAIN!

This is a great trick to open your performance with because the magic happens very quickly and it has audience participation. Four envelopes are openly displayed and three spectators are given a chance to win a hundred dollars. Each spectator chooses an envelope, leaving one for the magician. The envelopes are opened, revealing a smaller envelope. The smaller envelope is opened and the spectators find a small business card and written on the back is, "Thanks for playing - try again."

The audience think that they have been had. They believe that all the envelopes contain business cards, until you open your envelope and pull out a crisp, new hundred dollar bill. Nothing else is contained in the magician's envelope. There is no explanation on how the magician is left with the one envelope containing the hundred dollar bill.
